Sonya is a Law Clerk at Triangle Law Group. She was born and raised in Vermont. After serving in the United States Air Force, Sonya obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Chapman University and her law degree from Massachusetts School of Law. Sonya spent more than 12 years working in the law field in Massachusetts before leaving the field and transferring to North Carolina. She is happy to have returned to her first love – law – after several years working in retail business.

On a day to day basis, Sonya assists the attorneys with drafting and filing legal documents, conducting research, assisting with litigation discovery, managing the Clients’ database, and general legal administrative work. Sonya also assists in the office wherever help is needed. Sonya prides herself on being dedicated to her job and co-workers.

In her free-time, Sonya enjoys reading, hanging out with her friends and family, traveling (especially cruising), and relaxing with her husband, Dave and fur babies, Mojo.
